DIVE INTO THE WORLD OF HANSEKIND

My name is Constanze Samson and I am the founder of the brand HANSEKIND. The idea of ​​creating my own brand came to me in 2003 - my first son was born in 2002 and I had previously completed my diploma at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. Back then, beautiful baby products were hard to find and what could be more natural than to let my creativity run freely ?! Developing loving and unique children's products for fans of Nordic-Maritime furnishings and equipping newborn hanseatic children had become my passion. I started production and opened an online shop - at that time, unlike today, this sales channel was still in its infancy. Shortly afterwards I exhibited at wholesale trade fairs and also sold my products to retailers. So I've been the captain at the wheel of my grown company for a few years now and I still enjoy it as much as I did on the first day. I am happy about big and small successes and let setbacks flow into my wealth of experience. That is also part of entrepreneurship. It makes me very proud that my products are now even available beyond Germany's borders, sold on the sea on cruise ships, or bought at the airport, as a souvenir to travel around the world. In 2017 my third son was born - a little straggler who happily turned our family life upside down again. And of course, through him and the contact with other parents, I have many new inspirations for new products on board - so: full speed ahead ... Sincerely your Constanze Samson
